GHOST UNDER FOOT: Kenneth W. Harmon

GHOST UNDER FOOT: KENNETH W. HARMON
If you feel you’re being watched, don’t worry ‘cause you are! No, it’s not me this time – although I do still have that telescope! I’m just sayin’ … Nope, this time it’s a very unfriendly ghosty-wosty uninviting you from your household! Next thing you’ll hear is a throaty, “Get out!” That’s your clue to vamos, but don’t you dare leave until you enter our Daily Book Giveaway! Today, it’s all about those nasty apparitions that stake a claim to your territory and take possession of your big screen TV! As if that’s going to happen without a fight!

Prize-winning author Kenneth W. Harmon has written one hell of a tale about a real-life encounter with these spirits! He’s documented and captured images of what was haunting the family home and it was a little more than an obnoxious neighbor inviting himself to the barbeque! GHOST UNDER FOOT will give you goosebumps and have you turning on the lights, but isn’t that what chiller-dillers are for? To scare us senseless and give us brain freeze? Amen to that! And the fact it’s all true amps up the thrills!

Kenneth is offering up two print copies of GHOST UNDER FOOT. We’re restricting this contest to the US and Canada for that reason. As for the contest, same rules apply. All you have to do is go to the Official Facebook HALLOWEENPALOOZA Event Page and comment in today’s post that you want to win and you just might! Link is below. So get your can of “GHOST BEGONE” out of your cleaning supplies and spray liberally about your house and under your bed! Can’t be too cautious this time of year!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
h
Born in Fairfield, California to a hard-working Air Force Master Sergeant, and strong-willed, loving mother from Kansas, Kenneth W. Harmon graduated from the Fort Worth Police Academy at the age of twenty. The youngest officer on the force, he was too young to legally buy bullets for the gun he carried.

After taking an early retirement, Kenneth moved to Washington state, where he launched his writing career. He now lives in Colorado with his wife and four daughters. In 2007, he discovered that his family had a ghost living with them. He started an investigation and captured images of the ghost on video and in photographs. His non-fiction book, Ghost under Foot: the Spirit of Mary Bell will be published by Llewellyn in March 2012. In addition to non-fiction, Kenneth loves to write fiction. He writes everything from mainstream to urban fantasy. A prior finalist for the Pacific Northwest Writer's Association Zola Award in 2009 and 2012, and runner up for the Pikes Peak Writers Paul Gillette Memorial Award in 2012, he has placed short stories with numerous publications. “Kenneth Harmon encompasses what a real and non-pretentious read should be with Ghost Under Foot.” – Alexandra Holzer, author

“There is more to the supernatural than most of us understand; Kenneth W. Harmon explains more in this superb book!” – ghostseen.com UK

Weeks after settling into their new home in Fort Collins, Colorado, retired police officer Kenneth W. Harmon and his family make a chilling discovery: they’re living with a ghost.

This true haunting story begins during a ghost tour at the famous Stanley Hotel, where the Harmons experienced headaches and paranormal phenomena. Once back at home, strange rapping noises, eerie whispers captured on film, and unidentified figures in his photographs compel Ken to research the land’s history. What he learns shocks everyone: in the backyard sits the unmarked grave of Mary Bell Wilson, a young woman who died of typhoid fever in the late 1880s.
