PURGATORY - 13 TALES OF THE MACABRE: A. Lopez, Jr.

PURGATORY: A. LOPEZ, JR.
Just getting in, Apple Jacks? Yeah, a full night of howling at the moon really takes the wind out of you, doesn’t it? And speaking of wind, do you feel one kicking up? It’s colder than usual and causing goose bumps to form on your lizard skin. Nope, not Jack Frost on its way. It’s just the writing of A. LOPEZ, JR. set to eviscerate you and that only means one thing … well, two really! The first is that it’s Daily Book Giveaway time! The next is that you have the chance to win a book that’ll curl your toes, braid your hair and spank you into Sunday! (Not that you don’t deserve to be spanked! I know what you did! BWAHHHHAAHHHA!!!)

I love nothing more than introducing you to new horror writing talent and A. LOPEZ, JR. is coming your way! He’s serving up nice creepy stories and is offering up his chiller PURGATORY 13 TALES OF THE MACABRE to convince you of his writing chops! There’s ONE SIGNED PRINT COPY up for grabs and you have no idea what I had to do to get him to part with it! He’s a tough cookie so I took my clue from Poe’s THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM. That blade swung mighty close to a major artery before he caved in! And he even promised not to press charges and to count to ten before he comes after me! How’s that for being a gentleman? Why the last person that gave me gave me a running headstart wasn’t a person at all, but the story about how I got away from that flesh-eating zombie will have to wait!
PURGATORY is an anthology comprised of thirteen blistering stories that’ll keep you reading and holding onto that cross for protection!!!! Since it’s ONE PRINT COPY, we’re restricting this contest to the US and Canada, but same rules apply. All you have to do is go to the Official Facebook HALLOWEENPALOOZA Event Page and comment in today’s post that you want to win and you just might! Link is below!

“Found myself totally engrossed within every single characters thoughts. Some really mind messing stuff leaving me craving more.” – Amazon Reader
In the spirit of King, Laymon, Little, and Keene comes a collection of 13 tales of horror and the macabre. In the name of research, a world-famous horror author spends the night alone in one of the most haunted houses in the land, "Ritter House", only to discover that reality is much more horrific than fiction. In "Road Trip", a man must travel across state lines to identify his brother's dead body and drive him home in the back of his station wagon to a mortuary run by a dead man. A man has 2 hours to try and prevent a catastrophe in the building that his wife works in. Only, he can't recall how or why, his only clue is the recurring nightmare he had 2 hours earlier. The clock tics in "Tic Toc" Christmas will never be the same again for a little boy in "Santa Claws". An old wooden box in a warehouse carries a story all its own in "The Crate" A trip to Purgatory will open the door to these stories and more.
